Yamaha YTS-23 Tenor Saxophone in very good condition
Serial # 023584 which puts the manufacture date around 1987
For a horn this age, the condition is remarkable. No sizable dents or scratches. The lacquer is in very good shape considering its age, although it obviously will show wear and age spots.
It was serviced and re-padded several years ago and has almost no playing time since then. Playing condition is good.
Includes 3 mouthpieces:
– a mouthpiece that came with the horn of unknown origin
– a Syos Tivon Pennicott signature mouthpiece. This costs $250 new.
– a Vandoren SM823E T7 V16. This costs $125 new.
– so 3 mouthpieces have a total cost of $375 if bought new.
Also includes the original case in near-mint condition. There are no dents or tears in the tolex.
